Needle In A Haystack Tier List

An editorial order of the seven catalogue passes by the problem each one states it solves. It is not a developer ranking.

How this order was chosen

Passes are compared for a player who pulls straw and may walk it to a vent. S means the pass text removes that trip or doubles the grab. A means income or a discounted full set. B means cheaper speed, or shared tools whose strength depends on an unpublished fleet cap or skill rank. Your cash board can change the order.

Which Needle In A Haystack boards are on this hub?

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.

Tiergamepasses7 ranked rows.

S tier

gamepassesVENT IN YOUR POCKETEditorial pick for the manual loop. The pass pays your straws on pull, which removes the vent walk the other passes keep mentioning.

Player decision Buy it when you carry straw to the vent yourself.

gamepasses2× HANDSEditorial pick when volume is the limit. One pass doubles straw per pull and carry.

Player decision Buy it when each grab feels small.

A tier

gamepassesEVERYTHINGEditorial pick only if you want all five included passes. 649 Robux against 1,045 is a 396 Robux gap. The letter is about that price, not a hidden sixth effect.

Player decision Buy the bundle for the full five. Buy one S-tier pass when you want a single fix.

gamepasses2× CASHDoubles vent deposits and your drone-credit share. It scales money after straw is already moving.

Player decision Buy it after deposits are steady. It is a weak first buy if you still pick up very little straw.

B tier

gamepassesFAST LEGSThe cheapest pass. 1.5× walk and a higher jump, on top of the Legs chain, shortens trips you still make.

Player decision A reasonable first Robux spend if you only want speed. Less important for your own straw once VENT IN YOUR POCKET pays on pull.

gamepasses+2 DRONESShared income, but the extra drones fly while you are in the haystack and the fleet cap number is unpublished.

Player decision Prefer it in a group that stays in the haystack. For a solo clear, 2× HANDS or the vent pass changes your own hands first.

gamepasses+1 TUNNELERA shared borer with no charging step, stacked on two skill-tree tunnelers. Strength follows Drive, Pick, Grab, and Carry, and those prices are unpublished. It sits outside the bundle.

Player decision Buy it when the squad already raises those ranks and wants a third tunneler. Do not buy it as if EVERYTHING already included it.
